About the instructor
David Abramson has been teaching music for 14 years, helping people at all stages of their musical journey. He’s worked with hundreds of musicians in the studio helping them achieve the confidence, background knowledge, and skills it takes to jam and play music in their desired setting.
David has also played in several bands, ranging from a 9-piece ska band to being the front-man for David Jacob & The Sprouting Hearts, to lead guitarist for the Midnight Dip, and many other projects in between.
He has also led the Summer Jam series, inviting musicians into jam circles for creative and inspiring musical sessions and is now a certified Wernick Method Bluegrass Instructor.

David is a really amazing teacher and my guitar playing has improved so much since I started working with him. One of the main things he’s helped me with is ear training and being able to figure out songs without tabs or looking up chords, which has been super fun to work on and surprisingly easy when he teaches it. He also teaches music theory but in a really relaxed and applicable way through the songs you’re playing so it’s not overwhelming and actually makes sense.
